Thank you for shopping with JDR.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges, refunds, and product issues are handled for purchases made through our official website.

🛍️ 1. Change-of-Mind Returns

If you change your mind about a purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

• Name and email address used for the order

• Product(s) you wish to return

• Reason for the return

Please do not send any product back before receiving return instructions from us.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, returned products should be in their original condition, with the original packaging and accessories, and should not show signs of use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.

🧼 2. Harmonicas and Other Mouth-Contact Products

Harmonicas, mouthpieces, and other products that come into direct contact with the mouth may be subject to additional hygiene restrictions.

If a product is supplied with a hygiene seal or sealed packaging and that seal has been opened, the product may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return for health and hygiene reasons.

This restriction does not apply to products that are defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise not in conformity with the order.

📦 3. Return Shipping for Change-of-Mind Returns

For returns that are not related to a defect, damage, or shipping error, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to our designated return address.

International returns may need to be sent to our warehouse in China.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping the shipping receipt and tracking number until the return has been completed.

JDR is not responsible for return packages that are lost before they reach our designated return location.

⚠️ 4. Defective, Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing an item, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please provide:

• Your order number

• A description of the problem

• Relevant photos or videos

• Any other information reasonably required to verify the issue

For harmonica note or reed-response issues, we may ask you to record a short troubleshooting video so our engineers can accurately identify the problem before determining the appropriate solution.

Once the issue is verified, we may provide a repair, replacement, replacement part, refund, or another appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances.

If a return is required because the product is verified as defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, JDR will provide return instructions and cover reasonable return shipping costs.

🛡️ 5. Product Warranty

Where a JDR product page states that the product includes a one-year warranty from the date of receipt, that warranty applies.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, accidental damage, unauthorized modification or repair, normal wear and tear, or improper storage.

💳 6. Refunds

For approved voluntary returns, we will inspect the returned product after it arrives.

If the return is approved, the refund will normally be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.

Your bank, credit card provider, PayPal, or other payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

EU and UK returns are subject to the refund timelines stated in Sections 13 and 14 below.

🚚 7. Original Shipping Charges

For ordinary change-of-mind returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For EU and UK customers exercising the 14-day cancellation right described in Sections 13 and 14, the cost of standard outbound delivery will be refunded.

If you selected an upgraded, express, or premium shipping method, any amount exceeding the cost of standard delivery will not be refunded.

If shipping was included in the product price and no separate shipping charge was paid, there is no separate outbound shipping charge to refund.

🌐 8. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, VAT, and Other Charges

Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and similar charges collected directly by customs authorities, carriers, marketplaces, or other third parties are generally not refundable by JDR.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund of such charges, you may need to apply directly to the relevant customs authority, carrier, marketplace, or tax authority.

If a tax or charge was collected directly by JDR and is included in an approved refund, we will process it accordingly.

🔄 9. Exchanges

If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please contact us before returning it. We will review the case and advise you on the appropriate replacement or exchange procedure.

For a voluntary exchange where there is no product defect, the simplest method is usually to return the original product under this policy and place a new order for the desired item.

The customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with voluntary exchanges.

🚫 10. Items That May Not Be Eligible for Voluntary Return

The following may not qualify for our voluntary change-of-mind return policy:

• Products damaged by misuse, improper care, accidents, or unauthorized repair or modification

• Products that are incomplete or missing accessories

• Products returned outside the applicable voluntary return period

• Custom-made or personalized products

• Gift cards

• Products clearly marked as Final Sale

• Hygiene-sensitive mouth-contact products after the applicable seal has been opened

Sale or discounted products are subject to the same voluntary return conditions unless they are specifically marked as Final Sale.

🎵 11. Minor Cosmetic or Performance Variations

Minor cosmetic variations, small manufacturing marks, packaging wear that does not affect the product, or minor tonal differences that fall within normal manufacturing tolerances are not automatically considered product defects.

This does not apply where a product is materially damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied, or does not conform to its description.

🔧 12. Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications

If a product has been disassembled, modified, retuned, repaired, or otherwise altered by the customer or a third party, this may affect eligibility for warranty service if the alteration caused or contributed to the reported problem.

🇪🇺 13. EU Customers

EU customers purchasing online may cancel their order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us of the cancellation, the goods must be returned within 14 days.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

The product price and the cost of standard outbound delivery will be refunded. If an upgraded, express, or premium delivery service was selected, the additional amount above the standard delivery cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be issued within 14 days after we are notified of the cancellation. We may wait until we receive the returned goods or receive evidence that the goods have been sent back before issuing the refund.

Customers may inspect the product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function. A reduction may be made from the refund if the value of the product has been reduced by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.

Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons are not eligible for the 14-day change-of-mind return once the seal has been opened.

🇬🇧 14. UK Customers

UK customers purchasing online may notify us that they wish to cancel their order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us of the cancellation, the goods must be returned within 14 days.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

The product price and the cost of standard outbound delivery will be refunded. If an upgraded, express, or premium delivery service was selected, the additional amount above the standard delivery cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be issued within 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or within 14 days after the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Customers may inspect the product in the same way they reasonably would in a physical store. A reduction may be made from the refund if the product has been handled beyond what is necessary and its value has been reduced.

Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons are not eligible for the 14-day change-of-mind return once the seal has been opened.

🛒 15. Orders Purchased Through Amazon or Other Marketplaces

If you purchased a JDR product through Amazon or another third-party marketplace, returns and refunds may need to be processed through that marketplace according to its applicable policies and procedures.

Please provide your marketplace order number when contacting us so we can determine the appropriate support route.

📍 16. Return Address

Do not send a return to any address found on the original shipping package unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

After your return request is reviewed, we will provide the correct return address and any required shipping instructions.

Items sent to an unauthorized address may not be received or processed.
